Re: Carr Creek Lake
The lake is in knott county, and there isn't much there, but hazard is only like 15 min away if you wanted to stay over night or something. i allways put in at the marina, i herd storys of people getting things stolen at the dam. they say Carr creek has a good walleye fishery if thats what your after, i've never really fished for them there. I use to bass fish there and had a few really good days there, up around the dam area with jigs, let me know if i can help with anything else.

Re: Carr Creek Lake
You also could stay in whitesburg its about the same distance as hazard and its on the southeast end of the lake. The lake is very skinny and winding. A friend of mine lives down and tells me that it gets a lot of pressure in the spring and summer. good luck

There are no muskie in carr creek lake. Carr creek is a very very highly pressured lake. There are 3 tournys a week from spring to fall. Best bait on that lake is a tube! I have caught fish on other things but the tube is the way to go on that lake. Whatever you want to know about the lake just email me.
