Took Dad fishing this past weekend. He'd basically not even heard of FnF other than what myself and brother had mentioned to him in passing. He used my brother's rod and this is the first (and only) fish he caught on the fly.

He said it was the biggest smallmouth he'd ever seen.
That's a nice fish. Is he hooked on it? BTW you guy's had a few nice fish in that album.:)

I don't know about hooked on it - he's not quite as much into fishing as I am - but he's interested in trying again.
Most of the good fish in that album have come in the last year.

Thanks! Dangerous is a strong word. Lucky is probably closer to the truth. I've fished it 4 times this winter and caught 5 smallmouth and 7 or so assorted KY's. That being said, the 5 smallmouth were all really nice fish...at least to me.

Just for the contest, I thought I'd officially UPLOAD this photo of my Dad's first FnF Smallmouth. It came exactly 1 month after his cancer surgery (he's doing very well obviously) and was a big, fat 20" fish. It was great to get to watch him play that fish.
