Elwood / Elnutsmalljaws update

First and foremost, I want to thank everyone for the support and prayers. Certainly been a tough year for me and especially tough since the first week of October and I am not done yet. For all those that are pitching in at Backwaters for the fund that Billy set up, please leave your name address and phone number so II can thank you properly. Hopefully, I will be going home soon but that is up to the Doctors. My right lung was collapsed and I had blood clots in both lungs is what brought me back in 13 days ago. Several procedures using 9" long needles going thru my back and draining the fluid off my right lung has helped a bunch. Hopefully it will be all over soon. Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers and hope to be well soon.

Glad to hear from you Elwood, yes the good lord has put you thru some messes this past year. Maybe it's all about over and you can get out and do some fishin....There's a line waiting to take you fishing I would say...... In our prayer's daily...Get well fishin brother......:)

Hang in there Woody it's gonna get better and there will be an ole brown fish dancing on the surface for ya soon.

Just take it easy and get well Elwood. I hear the stock in Backwaters went up 10 points in the past couple of days. Plenty of time for fishing...just get well brother.

The way it sounds, things are turning around, Elwood. It is so important to keep faith, keep poitive and be patient. Those are hard but healing needs all three. It will be a great day when all is well in your family. Bonefish

I can't tell you how good it is to open the board and see an update from you at the top of the list. I sent you some magazines and a note I don't think I told you I do not want them back. Keep getting better do what your Dr. and Billy tell you and we will see you on the water.

I Agree with Dave. Take the time to heal and don't rush things. You have been though way too much. Hope you are healed in time for next winter's smallmouth fishing season. Recouperate now and gather your strength. God be with you man!
