Re: No Entry Fee Tournament
we would fish
I was wanting to post this and actually get some responses from people who would be interested. I am currently working with Gambler Lures to get a no entry fee tournament set up on Patoka Lake for this year. The only catch is that the only lures you can use are Gambler brand. Doesn't seem to be a big deal to me seeing how first place can win $1,000, and there will be a stress test or lie detector test given to the winners. But what I was really wanting to know is how many people would be interested. Like I said I am still working with Gambler to get this up here. I have no date but it looks like it might be in the fall. Anybody who reads this if you are interested just reply to this post. We want at least 100 boats if possible. Thank You.
Saying you are going to have a tournament and actually being able to do it is two different things. To have a tournament that ize it will have to be cleared through the state and have the proper permits also there is insurance and liability concerns. Also If there were that many boats it is going to be next to impossible to police who is using what type of baits.
