My wife, my brother, his wife and I are thinking about going to Cave Run Lake in April. Does anyone have any information on the Lake View Motel at 4300 Hwy 801 South Morehead, KY.? We also need to know if there is a boat ramp near by and if this would be a good area of the lake to fish for muskie?

I've never been there, but if I'm not mistaken, the lakeview motel is a very small motel attached to a baitshop directly across from Scott Creek Marina. Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong. There is a very nice Comfort Inn directly off the interstate that is no more than 5 minutes from the lake too.
That is correct, The Lake View Motel is right across the 2-lane from Scott's Creek ramp. The place is a very nice spot to stay and at a great rate. It is connected to Cave Run Lake Pro Shop, which is the home of TNT Guide service. They are all great up there and it is very convienent and enjoyable.

April on Cave Run can be some great muskie fishing. I don't fish for them myself but have caught several and lost a lot of spinnerbaits at that time of year.
Brownwood Bed and Breakfast - Jeff and Maggie will take good care of you. Very reasonable and right by the lake.
I have stayed at the lakeview hotel many times, very nice and clean, if you get the right room you can see the water at the ramp right across the street, april is one of the hottest months on the cave, should be an excellent trip for you if the weather cooperates.
