Scott Martin Challenge TV show
I didn't even know he had a show, but someone mentioned it on here and I had to check it out.
Set the DVR to record the episode from where Sam Lashlee and him fish ledges on KY lake during the summer. It appears they were way down on south KY. It was a very good episode and full of good info for those like me that still don't know how to find and fish ledges very well. Any or all info I find on the subject helps me out---but actually seeing it helps me more then the actual reading.
The show was good because, Scott actually showed his GPS,showed images of what he was fishing and at one point they both sat on the deck of the boat and showed us a real map---I believe it was Little Dry Creek, and showed where the fish are, where they went, and where they come back out different times of the year.
It was of more help to me to actually see it on a real map that I am familiar with.
Now, I have enver fished Little Dry Creek, but I can tell you that the next time I fish ledges on KY Lake---I will use that visualation to my favor.
I have watched it 2 1/2 times and will probably watch it a few more.
They talked baits,presentations,etc.
I am not sure if all of his epsiodes are like this, but this one was good for sure.
His shows are on Versus or VS and it's on 549 on,Louisville Insight.
His upcoming episodes will have Scott and Sam challenge Terry Bolton and Dan Morehead. Can't wait to watch it.
Oh yeah---Scott beat Sam. He had his best 5 weighed 18.5. Nice sakc of fish for sure.
Re: Scott Martin Challenge TV show
The episode with Martin and Lashlee challenging Moorehead and Bolton is also a good one and informative. I have seen other shows that he has fished on Amistad also. Scott Martin Challenge is one of my favorite fishing shows because it is competitive, done in fun, and informative. He also doesn't push his sponsors so much that it is sickening like some of the other guys.
Re: Scott Martin Challenge TV show
What day of the week does it air and time?
Re: Scott Martin Challenge TV show
It seems like it's on at different times, but mainly during the week while I am at work. I went to Versus's website and clicked on fishing and found his show and the times and episode contents.
I just had to hunt it down on the DVR and set it to record the "series".
Re: Scott Martin Challenge TV show
Can't wait to see this. I have never watched it before. I set the DVR to record new and repeats, so hopefully I can catch up. I have one coming on at 4:00 am, so I can watch it in the morning when I get up. DVR's rock!
Re: Scott Martin Challenge TV show
It airs 4 times a week. I always get one on Tuesday with my DVR.
You ain't kiddin! DVR's absolutely rock. I would urge anyone without it to invest. Puts you in control of your TV time instead of it running you.
Re: Scott Martin Challenge TV show

Yea the show is ok But one thing I have noticed is if he is fishing somewhere he thinks his opponent might beat him they are always in the same boat. The lakes in Fla he goes out by himself. In the Lashlee show if Sam was around fish duh he was....... Same boat ...Same fish...

I haven't really seen enough to notice this, but it was still somewhat educational. He had to make it at least interesting. I think there are few pro's in the country that could go one on one with any of the three Ky Lakers he had on the show (Bolton, Morehead, Lashlee) while on Kentucky lake. I guess he didn't want to get embarassed
