Re: usabassin (lake lemon)
It has very nice bass in it. Try the upper end in spring and creek channels in summer. It gets lots of weed growth and has lots of riprap banks & docks.
Re: usabassin (lake lemon)
It's a great lake but I don't know if I'd bypass other lakes if I lived 2 hours away. Just like FishinAddict said lots of docks and grass. Has good fish in it but it's fairly small and on the weekends it can turn into a mess. Great lake to fish in the evenings and through the week though. If you haven't already signed up for the usabassin tourneys there your probably too late. Only a 30 or 35 boat field and they usually fill up by the first of the year.
Re: usabassin (lake lemon)
I have fished the lemon circuit for 3 years now and the number of boats compared to size are just about right. The later tournaments are held on friday evenings untill about 1:00 am to limit congestion on the weekends. Pretty good weights overall and several large bags. Contact Jerry Koller for info, I believe his number is on website and he will be happy to help. I don't know if the event is full yet or not but he will be happy to help. I t does fill up very fast though.
