Hey guys, I just registered on the board. Just ran across the site. looks like a good place to hang out.

Not done much fishing lately but, that's going to change. I just retired a few months back. I might need a little advice occasionally.

Yes, you could say Laurel is my lake of choice...I can be in the water from home in about 20 min. I have fished Laurel off and on from the time the dam was built and caught a lot of fish but nothing too big. I am hearing about some good Small Mouth and Walleye as of today.

I am hearing about a bait fish in Laurel Lv...LG... something with an L. I don't know if this bait fish is natural to the lake or has been added to the lake, it's all new to me, any of you guys heard or know anything about it? I would like to know what they look like and about size.

Not sure what baitfish that might be. Is it an Alewife?
