Hooks???
I hate to be bombarding this board so quick, but I have a question that pops in my head about every 10 minutes. What kind of hooks have you jig makers found to be the best??? I ordered some Sohumi's, just because the site I was on didn't have Gamakatsu's. Any opinions on these?? Or are the Gam's that much better? I didn't order a ton, just enough to get me going for a while.

Re: Hooks???
I really like the Gamamama's (sp), but if I can't get them then eagle claw will work. But like I said I haven't gotten into pouring my own jig head yet. But that will be my next step. So if anyone is looking to get rid of their molds and left over lead bars...send me a pm on a price.....

Re: Hooks???
I use Gamays or Mustad. Get on line at Barlowstackle.com and order their catalog. You can find what ever you need in it. Then call P&J tackle and order what you need. I have no affiliation with the company he just has the best prices. If you have a question he will walk you threw the problem. I called and talked to him at 8:00 last night with one he got me straightened out. His number is 1-865-376-5959. He was also at the Strader show the past several years. Ryan.

Re: Hooks???
For striper jigs, I've been using Eagle Claw 630's. I also use some Mustad 3x hooks on my saltwater jigs.
