if you found a boat that you liked you probably did the right thing by trading your boat in.times are tough right now for most working class americans and they probably can not come up with the cash to buy a good used boat so they are going to the dealership where they can finance one for 10 to 15 years at low payments every month.i have a skeeter boat that i am trying to sell and it looks like i am going to have to trade it in on one that i have found that i like before some one else beats me to it.there are a lot of tire kickers out there that would like to be on the water fishing from their own boat but the george bush syndrone keeps them fishing on the dock.

amen to your last comment.i also agree if you find a boat you like and can afford to buy it from a dealer you better jump on it.i have missed out on a couple of boats that i could have bought from a dealership waiting to try to sell my boat to an individual.you probably loose $500.00 to $1000.00 when you trade your boat in on another boat but the dealership is in business to make money and what the heck you only live once in this lifetime.
