Rough River in April

First time going to Rough River. Will be fishing for bass and crappie. Don't know anything about the lake. Any Rough River experts would like to lend a hand. I will appreciate all info. Not looking for secect holes or baits. Just some friendly advice on basic stuff. You can email me if you like.

Don't know what to really tell you about Rough right now. The Dam was being repaired and the Lake was way up. I do mean (way) up over summer pool and muddy to stained really bad. Heard of one tournament that took place there back a couple weeks ago and it took 2.87lbs to win. So fishing conditions at Rough are extremely rough right now.....Good luck....:)
