Re: April 16th fishin trip
I'll be down at The Moors that week and have a trip planned with Dave on that thursday. From what I hear The Moors is the place to be and Ky Lake in mid april has always been good to me. Come on down and join us.

Birdstrike, That's about the best time of year to tie into a big, big striper on Cumberland. Contact me through my web page if you like, and I'd be happy to give you an update on where to fish and stay. www.conleystriper.com

We are going after LM, hopefully prespawn fatties. Honestly, I'm looking forward to the trip with Dave Stewart and just being able to kick back relax more than anything.
Re: April 16th fishin trip
If you've got a big enough boat (by that I mean anything bigger than a little jon boat) then I'd go to KY Lake. That place is on fire around that time. You MAY be able to find a place to stay at the Moors or Kenlake.

I got a big ol' 14 foot Jonboat. :) Hey it might be small, but at least it's slow!

Peabody. Good bass fishing, ok for crappie, some holes have some killer bluegills. Bass isn't what it used to be before they hauled them to Cedar creek but still good fishing.

Barkley with Dave, stay at Buzzard Rock. A great time.

If you are serious about the size of your boat, you could get yourself into some big time trouble if you go out and then the weather gets bad. Seriously. Especially when you have a partner that is partially disabled. Just something to think about when you are on the big lakes.
