A little over 23 pounds won it. A little lighter bag than usual, but still pretty good. I did see a guy weigh in a fish 2 oz. shy of 9 pounds. Probably the biggest I have seen weighed in a the past year. Not a bad day considering the less than perfect conditions.

I agree, it was a big fish for a fact. Just a shade under the 9 range....Wind was brutal...for my fish anyway- hard to keep the boat off the bank. We did manage to catch a few Bigguns in practice. 6+ Smallie and some Largemouth as well. The April tourney will be better....

I would hope so, but don't count on it. I fished the first BFL last year in March wearing short sleeves. The next one in April was 35 degrees and raining with 20 MPH+ winds all day.
