Lake Cumberland
I am heading down tomorrow to fish the Beaver/Otter area.
With all the snow melting and the rain the last few days, how will it affect the lake in that area. Debris? Muddy? Stained?
Will the warmer rain warm up the water and turn the fish on?
How has the Beaver area been in terms of water clarity and debris this week?

Re: Lake Cumberland
Water is stained to heavily stained on the main lake. Clears some back in the creeks until you get into the heads where it gets down right muddy by Cumberland standards. Debris is almost non-exsistent on west end of lake but there is an occasional floater here and there. East end different story, farther up you go the worst it gets. Beaver and Otter you'll be fine. Water temps still very cold for this time of year. 45 to 46 degrees on main lake and as high as 48 or 49 back in some of the creeks. I personally think this cold rain is hurting things right now IMHO. Some are catching some fish at Cumberland right now but it's been tough as of late. If I was bass fishing I'd keep going on down to Dale, it's on fire right now, Everybody is catching fish down there. Cumberland is quickly becoming the little brother to Dale, that slot limit down there is spanking the big C and the KDFW can't see it. Go to Dale!!!
