Beaver was about as high as i've seen it this morning. Of course it's very muddy on this end of the lake, haven't seen lower end and back side of lake but assume it's the same.Lake will be dropping over the weekend but no problems launchimg and fishing. Good luck on sunday.
thanks for the info! hopefully it will drop and clear up some before sunday. i would give anything to see him pull in a decent bass or a mess of bluegill.
I'll let you know tomorrow after our Puddle Jumpers Tournament at Beaver.
Mud hole here we come
2 weekends ago a 7 pounder was caught on a black/blue jig extremely shallow, less that 3 feet of water. Last weekend a 7pound 11 ounce was caught on a brown-orange rattletrap.
The big ones are feeding up! Good luck!

Bassking,
We fished the Puddle Jumpers today and the water was high but receding. Most of the lake is muddy but not terrible just muddy.(i have seen worse) My guess is by Wednesday the fishing should be on!
I think if you went tomorrow it might be tough...it was today. The clearest water was in the last big cove on the left as you head toward the dam. Hope this helps.
Good Job Don! Your right they will be on fire in a few days.
And the results were.
We had 2 fish--Total weight 5lb 4oz. Those lucky fish took 1st Place and big bass --2lb 6oz (I think).
DJD thank you for the info!! I have too take him no matter what he has been asking for weeks now and i promised we would go. hopefully i can get him hooked up with something. next saturdays tourney there should be a good one. ive got to redeem myself because at the firdt tourney we would have had second place but one of my batteries went dead. one battery for a livewell and trolling motor doesnt last long. agian thanks for the report!!
Good job Don. Two keepers maybe things are looking up there.
