Fishing Regulation Question
Got confused trying to find the correct regulation pertaining to my 8 year old, beings that he is under 15 and license exempt, does he need a trout permit to catch and keep trout under statewide regs (small public/neighborhood state stocked lake)? I read the regs on the KDF&W website and it appeared he didn't,they read as follows =Unless license exempt, anglers who intend to keep trout must have a trout permit ($10),but the clerk at the place where I buy license and bait found somewhere in the Fishing and Boating guide where it appeared he did,I don't have the exact quote in front of me,but does anybody know the correct answer?
Thanks ahead of time,
Glenn P.
Re: Fishing Regulation Question
Good question, I was needing some info as well. Since I'm disabled, I think I'm supposed to get a Trout stamp along with my regular fishing license. But the clerk at Wally World never gave me mine. I could be wrong on this...Will try and find the info online or in the 08 Fishing Regs Book.
Re: Fishing Regulation Question
Children under 15 do not have to have a fishing license or trout stamp. Disability license include the trout stamp.
