Needing help with directions going to Cedar?
I am needing help on directions to Cedar. I know I get off Mt Vernon exit and go like I was going to Crabb Orchard but I am lost after that. Got directions to Cedar Creek Lake Outfitters, is the lake around that? Where can you get minnows at also? I know noone wants to give there spots away, but i was wondering what are some good spots for crappie and bass? Say from the ramp with directions. PM me if you dont want no one to know and dont care to tell me. Will not being going much, just want to get one of them trophy's. Would it be best to fish the banks or the stick ups. Any advice would help alot. Thanks in advance and I understand if no one wants to tell some decent spots. But directions to a ramp would be nice. :D
Re: Needing help with directions going to Cedar?
dsonthelake84 if you can get to Cedar Creek Lake Outfitters the lake is just about a mile or less on the left. You will see a church on the left right at the turn to get to the ramp. There are signs pointing to the ramp. When you make the left hand turn off the main road(hwy 150) go to the end of the road and make a right and you will be at the ramp. You should be able to get minnows at Cedar Creek Outfitters.I couldn't tell you where to fish at I struck out last time there.Hope this helps Good Luck to you.
Re: Needing help with directions going to Cedar?
I would tell you to find isolated wood rather than fish the rows and rows of it. That and see if you can get on the creek channels, fish were holding right above them last week. Creeks were colder than main lake last week and the fish were right in the creek mouths, not way up in there.
Good luck.
