Corinth Lake
Just wanted some info on the Bass fishing in this lake. Is it a good lake for numbers of 12-15 inch bass as the fishing forecast suggests? I'm not concerned about catching that once in a lifetime bass on this lake. i just want a good day of fishing, catching fun sized fish. Are the bass easy to pattern on this lake without equipment such as a fish finder? Can you pretty much just attack points and banks with cover and have a good day of fishing? I love to fish cranks, but I'm confident with soft plastics too. Is this a good lake to chunk and wind on or is targeting cover with soft plastics a better bet?
Thanks for any help and God bless!

From My experience on this lake its a neat little lake to fish but as far as numbers in the 12-15 i think would be strecting it, My personal opinion it has Great #'s for 10-12 inch fish and ok #'s for 12-15 inch. I havent fished this lake in about five years or so but I still like it due to the Light pressure on the lake especially with Bass Fisherman, always seen more people fishing for catfish, panfish, and crappie. The lake is fairly small so you can ussually drum up some small fish and on good days you can get into the bigger fish.

Great! Thanks for the info.Just curious...how would you guys compare this lake to fishing Beaver on a weekday (as opposed to a tournament day) for numbers?
Thanks again!

Re: Corinth Lake
We used to fish Corinth Lake a lot when I was a teenager. (a loooooong time ago) But, I loved fishing it then. There were LOTS of small bass and back in the day they loved white spinnerbaits and plastics. I don't think I ever caught a bass over 3 pounds though, and the vast majority were in the 10 -12 in. range. Back then it had great bluegill fishing too.

I fished both and I think Beaver has more numbers and better sized fish but I think Beaver gets more fishing pressure. Last year I was impressed with the Bluegill fishing even more. We saw huge numbers and size coming out of there. I'm doing that this year...
