Green River below lake dam
I have never been to the green river. A friend has invited me to go to his place which is at least 10 miles from the lake dam, maybe farther.
Can anyone give me some tips on the area, or what fish are the best to target.
Any info is greatly appreciated, as i have never been!
Thanks in advance,

The fishing below the dam is good right now and the best way to fish is with
a canoe or kayak. The water is low enough to wade just to cold.

What type of fish should i target, and what type of baits?
Thanks!!!
Re: Green River below lake dam
I say musky fish with bass size spinnerbaits or storm thundersticks (with steel
leader of course) but if you want action- smallmouth, redeye, and various
panfish will eat roostertails and popeye jigs tipped with wax worms fished under a small bobber.

What about some of those rebel crawdad's....any luck with those?
Thanks!

Good call, those are great creek baits.
