I went to the Louisville lake district report from this website and it shows Rough still over 10' above summer pool but Nolin and many of the other lakes have dropped over the last couple of weeks. Why is so much water in Rough right now? I would have thought they would have tried to lower it along with the others. Also doesn't sound like many are doing well fishing there. Any word?
I would have to say it is all stemming from the work they did on the dam. I am not certain whether or not it is complete but they weren't letting water out of that lake for the longest time.
they are limited to what they can let out in cfs til it is complete,plus there was 3 inches of rain friday..
Has anybody been to the state ramp lately? Our club will be down there next weekend and we were wondering if the lower lot is usable. Can you turn around there or do you have to back it down the road? If not, where would the best ramp to use be? Thanks.
at 10 ft up i doubt there is much room in the lower lot at all...
