Prayers for Leo237ret

Guys i need some heavy duty prayers for my buddy Steve.Hes a blind retired police officer,a fine fisherman and even greater friend.I was shocked today when he told me he was diagnosed with bone cancer and given only 3 to 6 months to live....
To anyone that knows Steve he is a great guy who would give the shirt off his back for anyone.Him and his family need all the prayers they can get to help him beat this.Thanks for all of your prayers and if you wouldnt mind could you put him in your prayer book at church also.Thanks guys.

As soon as I'm done saying a prayer for him, I'm calling my dad. He's a preacher here in Lexington and he'll get added to the prayer chain. Thanks for letting us know.

we are sending some prayers from richmond... i will tell my superintendent in the morning he is a preacher so i will get him put on the prayer list there too....

Couldn't sleep, so it is a great time to pray, Give him our well wishes and hang in there, The docs don't always get it right. They said I would be dead in less than 2 years from a kidney disease, I have had some close calls but they told me this in 1999, 14 surguries later and dialysis three days a week and I am still jumping so prayers work. If we could only declare war on sickness and not people, imagine the money we spend in Iraq this year spent for health care and research! God bless this man and help him through his trials. On a personal note thank him for his service as a policeman.

I'm so sorry to hear that John, I will say a prayer, I sure wish they could find a cure for this deadly disease. I ask myself all the time why so much bad seems to happen to the best people.....
