Upgrades to my boat. Opinions??
I have thought of installing the Oxygenators in my livewells. has anyone used these and if so, are they worth the money?? Hard to install yourself??
Also has anyone used the new rechargeable blacklights?? how many hours do you get from each charge ?? Thanks.....
Re: Upgrades to my boat. Opinions??
I have the orginal model the one that sits in the bottom of your livewell that has the 2 oxygenators together. It was simple to install, with only a small hole to drill at top of livewell, I ran mine to a switch and then to battery. It does a great job. I have had no dead fish since using this, and I dont run my livewell pump as often. These are great and the fish seem to love it as they will hover over the unit. You must clean them reg but it is simple, and only use their U2 formula. Every angler should have one in their livewells. My unit cost 79$ at Gander Mtn in Bowling Green. PM me for any questions about this product.
Re: Upgrades to my boat. Opinions??
I recently bought a new skeeter that has the oxygenorator system. I too have notice a difference in the fish in a positive way. For example, fished barren this weekend caught a nice 5 pounder that looked as if it had been through the rigors of spawning. Caught the fish at 7:15a.m and at the end of the day that fish was every bit as mad as the smallmouth that accompied her. Well worth the money and I hear they are easy to install. I believe all you do is hook up to the battery and they automatically come on when there is water covering at least 1/2 the face. Good luck.
