Guist Creek hybrids?
Anybody catching any? I was thinking of getting out tomorrow afternoon/evening to give it a shot. I usually fish close to the dam and cruise around looking for pods of baitfish. That tends to work OK in the summertime, just wondering if that was a good tactic for this time of year.
Thanks!!

Guist has a good population of Gizzard Shad, so stuff that imiates them is a good bet: bucktail jigs, rattle traps, medium and deep running cranks. A little chartreuse in the color doesn't hurt ;)
Have not fished there this year, so no idea on how they are hitting. Trolling action usually starts around July. Have fished there very little this time of year, so I'm not sure how to target them right now.
