McClellan's new book
He probably has some sour grapes to contend with. But if anything he is saying about the White House is false why are they not slamming a slander suit down his throat?. I am beginning to think the best way to tell if a politician or a lawyer is lying is if their lips are moving.

Re: McClellan's new book
The lips moving is always a dead give away. This is the fourth book about the white house, and almost all of them have said the same thing, maybe there is some truth to it? Next thing you know, someone will maybe say that global warming is not a media hype by the liberal tree hugging democrats.

Re: McClellan's new book
Real truth to the matter is: President Bush was told by every Military, CIA, FBI, Foreign Relations people he could get in contact with, to make the decision to go to war. Congress backed the President and had the exact same information he had and agreed with the President to go to war. So you can't just blame President Bush if the war was a mistake or not...You have to blame everyone involved with making the decision to go to war in the first place.
This guy has a chip on his shoulder and he's trying to get rich by writing the book.
I still stand behind President Bush to this day on the War, and so far he's got Hussein and Osama will be next sooner or later.
That is unless Obama does for unsung reason does get elected as our next President.....You can forget about going to war with anyone...He wants to talk and make friends with everyone...... Then wait and watch as every swinging Tom, ****, and Harry attacks our Home Land again like 9/11.....

Re: McClellan's new book
Finally Scott grew a pair and is telling the truth about the Bush Adm.
WTG Mr McClellan.
The truth comes out eventually. LOL
I can only imagine how embarrassing this is to the GOP and right before the elections too.

Re: McClellan's new book
Thats my question ...If it is all lies why no threat of a slander suit??? Hey Sarge speaking for myself if I could sit down and talk to some one and come to a mutual agreement or understanding I would prefer that. You may or may not know that sick feeling that never goes away once you squeeze the argument ender..If Obama tries a different approach and it works great. If it dosen't we can try something else cause what we are doing dosen't seem top be accomplishing much.

Re: McClellan's new book
I read some of the comments on line by an independant news group and he is slamming some important people aside from the Pres. and V.P. including Colin Powell. It's another Conspiracy story according to the talk shows I listen to on the radio, Hannity and Rush (uneducated guess on my part since I did not read the book) Sounds like he had gone to the dark side and is bitter about it. Lol!!
It's old news and does anyone know...is Mr. McClellan a Democrat now? Still a Republican? Just curious.
FYI....according to the Democrat Congress gas would be cheaper once they had power....what is it now? That kool aid isn't as sweet is it? But there are some people who believe everything that they say they will fix. Consider the reasons fror gas price increases and then think why would these educated officials tell us that they could do that? How are they going to control OPEC?
Please remind me how Bush and Cheney jacked up the price of oil to get rich? And now has controlled Congress to keep it there? Maybe there was no Conspiracy that Hillary and Nancy and so on and so on stated??
Finally Scott grew a pair
It's hard for me to conceive of a reality in which pimping a supposed tell-all book on the talk show circuit is equated to "growing a pair".
I don't care where you fall politically. It's not "growing a pair"--it's cashing in on your time as an insider before your 15 minutes of fame runs out.

Re: McClellan's new book
Right, thats it. After all of these revelations of wrong doing by the Bush admin, I for one will not be voting for Bush in 08. Nope, not gonna do it, wouldn't be prudent at this juncture...

I agree. If the man had any integrity at all he would have spoken up when he was part of the admin and could have made a difference. Taking about it now just means he is a chump trying to cash in. I mean, he comments on Rove being part of the outing of Plame as a CIA opp, but kept quiet when there was a justice dept investigation?????
As far as Hannity and Rush (you mean that junkie is still on the air and not in jail) claiming its a conspiricy, sorry, I'm not buying it. The fact that those two suggest it indicates it is most likely NOT a conspiricy. With several ex-admin people now saying a lot of the same things, you gotta figure there may be some truth to it all.
Course, I have not read the book either....

Re: McClellan's new book
Scott was on The Factor tonight and it was awesome. Bill hit him hard and Scott came right back, great interview. After hearing Scott speak I think the Left is using him and Scott can't agree that's what's going on...he can't it's that simple. Scott claims that Bush is an honest man who he has affection for and he didn't want this to be a Bush bashing but more of a lets quit the constant campaining and do what's right for the country. Huh?? IMO his book is going to be viewed as a farce after the dust settles.
WMD's? Scott admitted that all the Intell both American and British said Iraq had it. The New York Times said it! George Tenant (Cia Director) agreed as far back as when he served under Clinton that Iraq had it and so did Bill Clinton back then! So did John Kerry, so did Hillary and the who's who of the political landscape why is it that people don't get that? Saddam's denial and lying and general history of deceit got him in trouble.
I feel sorry for Scott because IMO he realizes he made an error in judgement....a money making mistake but a mistake none the less. JMO!

Re: McClellan's new book
People who repeat lies over and over again eventually start to bellieve they are true.
X perts on Global Warming have been gagged and have their reports edited to stop the truth from getting out.

This type of BS has been typical of the Right wing of the GOP. Bush is an extreem right wing GOP guy.
