You can fish the creeks along the Ohio just stay out of the Marinas in the Louisville area....Most of Harrods Creek is posted "no wake". 14 mile creek is electric motor only. 18 mile creek is real shallow at the mouth but gets deeper once you get in it.
Harrods creek is open to fishing except for the marinas that are on/off the creek.. There has been many discussions regarding tickets being issued in Captains Quarters Marina and others, so you might search the site about that... I fish Harrods when I'm on the river, just remember to down size your lure selection for the river...
Thanks alot I will be sure to do that.
You will get a ticket in Captains Quarters..Most of the marinas near Louisville are posted, I am not sure how legal their postings are but I am positive about QC. Depending on your boat size there are some good creeks up towards Madison, Indiana also.
