Cedar Creek Report/Tuesday
Not a big bass fisher but thought I'd post on yesterdays catch. Water temps./80-83 degrees, water had good color if not a bit too clear. Caught fish around standing timber in the 15' range, especially over to the right side across from the road bed using Blue Flake Worms. Also picked up a few on the road bed and the first tree line you come to. Some were around 3-4 lbs range but also caught a lot of smaller bass. Chunky bunch of fish and had a good time catching them. Figure if I can catch them you bass guys should burn them up.
GW-Thought I might see you on the water! We meet a couple of years back. Tracker boat just like yours.

I fished off of the bank yesterday and caught 25 largemouth. Caught all on worms, green pumpkin and junebug, shakey head and wacky wormin. All were between 11-13". First time at the lake. Wow, alot of standing timber. Went to every boat ramp on the lake and fished where I could which wasn't much areas. Still had fun.

A guy I went to school with would stand on the mid lake ramp a throw a Corolina rig out to the tree line and catch "em'. Has caught some decent ones. 5lb has been his biggest.

we was down monday and had 3 over 20inches and had one over 6lbs jump off...all came off of one spot and bottom baits...numerous little fish also
Re: Cedar Creek Report/Tuesday
Was there yesterday and it was not one of my better trips. We caught 6 bass but all were around 12 inch. I just can not find the big fish. Must not be holding my mouth just right.

For me, the bigger fish are deep. Some of the fish I'm catching are 15 -20 feet deep. Last Monday I had a pretty good day with two in the five pound range and a couple of 4.0's. I also had the biggest fish I have ever had on at Cedar Creek get off at the boat. 8 pound range. Today I lost another big one at the boat. I would guess around six.
When you do hook up with a big one remember where you caught it and fish that spot 3 or 4 times. Thats what I do all day long. I have a few good spots that I have caught good fish out of and I run them all day long.

I kinda figured I was hitting the shallows a little to much. Next trip I will hit the spots I know of that run in that depth. Thanks.
