Barkley-catfishin

Just wondering what was going on with the catfishin @ Barkley lake north end?//

Catfishing has been slow on the lower end of Barkley the last week. Have managed a few blues in the low 20's and a 70lb Flathead, channels are not biting at all...and doing most of my fishing at night..I know its not the upper end of Barkley but the best i can give ya bro..warren

Just got back from Barkley Lake. It was muddier & the water was warmer than I expected.

Fished 5 hours at Eddys Farry. Two nice blues and one big shell cracker.

The boys did go down below KY Dam and did some snagging. Caught 3 a big carp and a spooney.

I snuck out while everyone else was asleep this morning and second cast got a 6 lb stripper. That was at 5 am and fished until 7:30 am without another hit. :(
