Eagle Creek

I was up there on Monday for about 8 hours. Didn't even get a bite. I walked all the way around and seemed to be hearing the same thing from everyone. do the fish not bite on mondays after the weekend? I saw a few big ones out in the water flopping around. But none were biting.

Wow....you walked all the way around Eagle Creek. I bet that took about 8 hours in itself. I was there Saturday and the Crappie bite was good. Try a 1/16 jig head with a 1.5" tube or curley tail and cast it around some structure. I found the bite was best in 10-15 FOW.

yeah it took quite a while to walk all the way around. I had nothing else going on though. The worst part are some of those hills where there isn't a trail. I might go out and try again friday. Hopefully the turtles will stay away this time.
