A day on the water with Dave Stewart
Work has been busy this week, but i wanted to take a moment to send a big THANK YOU to Dave Stewart for the awesome day my dad and I had on the water with him on Tuesday. I booked a trip with Dave for dad & I as a combo birthday/fathers day present for him. We went ledge fishing, and i can honestly say it was one of the best days i have ever had on KY Lake. I have fished the lakes for years, and have never caught fish like that ledge fishing. At one point, Dave was keeping up with how many limits we had caught, and the last time i asked him how many we had, his response was " I have no idea, i have lost count". I don't know for sure either, but i would not be afraid to say we had 30+ keepers, with one smallmouth that would probably weighed around 4 1/2, and several largemouth in that range.
Once Again Dave, Thank You, with dad getting ready to retire and start traveling, our fishing time will probably decrease, but this will be a trip we will talk about from now on. I look forward to spending some time with you on the water in the future.
PS. If you need any more info on the "jigs", let me know!

Jason: Thanks for the kinds words. Sometimes the fishing gods just shine down on us and things fall into place like having such a great trip with you and your dad just as he is retiring. I really enjoyed that trip and looking forward to another sometime in the future.

It's always good to spend time fishing with your Dad. I try to as much as I can. You never know how long they will be around. Great job.
