Rocky Point help?

I have never been down on the river before, Going down next week to get a feel for it. Anything I should know before I go? Are there diffrent boat regs i.e. cusions, jacket ware anything. If you want to give advice on fishing approaches would welcome that as well.

Boats reg are the same as any indiana lake . There are 2 ramps at
rocky they are private ramps . They is a gas station between the
2 ramps ask them about the fee. Think its between 3 and 5 dollars .
If you fish any of the creeks on the kentucky sides you need a Ky.
license. But you can probably fish big and little deer all day and
not fish the same water .

The gas station/store owns the front ramp and the camp grounds. The boat dealer owns the back ramp. I believe the launch fee is still $ 5.00 for each ramp. The 2 creeks(big and little deer) right there can have some really good fishing.

Thanks for the feedback. I was just worried I would not have something in the boat that would be required. With gas prices the way they are who needs a ticket for something stupid.
