Yeah, stop into the marina and tell em you want to rent a pontoon or jet ski. Just kidding, no for real you will get run over if your not watching these guys:eek:. Was fishing down there recently and a pontoon ran right over the bank we were fishing. The guy never turned and smiled or anything. I would have felt better if he had just flipped me off as he road by. I looked at my partner and said "You Ready To GO"? If your coming out of the State Park don't over look the small creek to the right.
OK thanks for the info, I will look out for the creek. I know what you mean though, was fishing last weekend out at Rough and there was so much boat traffic it wasn't even funny. A jet ski ran right over the point we were fishing. The kind of things that makes you want to choke someone.
Sir I do apoligize, I was thinking of the last day I was on Rough. Its been about a month since I fished Nolin. I sometimes get these to lakes confused. On Nolin during my last visit I fished on the main lake points. I found the deepest water possible which was 55 feet. There were some points on the this bank. Used a Carolina rig with a 1/2 weight and 3/0 hook pulling a creature bait in pumpkin color. Had a few good keeper fish.
good luck
LOL, no worries, and thanks for the info.

On July 4 morning I caught a 5.1lb bass.
I have submitted photos on the photo board if you would like to see them)
