Road Rage/ Hothead in trouble
Well all I can say is I'm shocked, but glad they are enditing that Yolanda Parrish. She is obviously a hothead and her son kicking the man while down talking his gang trash was waaaay out of line. I hope she gets the maximum time and too bad they can't lock up her punk son to. I saw the video and while not super clear that guy was 6 feet from her door UNARMED and she blasted him just because she could. Witnesses said that after the man hit the ground her son got out started kicking him and screaming get up you want so more. Fellas I'm all for defending yourself and your property and would not hestitate to cause a guy to start leaking form the holes I create if in my home threating my family and the likes. But you can't drive down the road and just shoot people because you don't like the way they drive. I hope they throw the book at'em both.
Re: Road Rage/ Hothead in trouble
I started the same type of thread on the community site about this when it first happened and I too am glad the B*T*H is getting what she deserves. I also hope her punk son as well gets some sort of punishment. That is one woman that does not ever need to be allowed to have a C&C at all. I would give her the entire 290 years allowed by law..... Never heard of someone being charged with two crimes but can only be sentenced for only one.
Re: Road Rage/ Hothead in trouble
The jury make-up (ie race) will be very interesting. I just think there's enough witnesses to counter act her claim of self defense. Oh yeh, O.J. got off too so who knows what can happen.
Rioting in Jeffersonville when the verdict is announced?
Re: Road Rage/ Hothead in trouble
I haven't been able to keep up with this story totally, but I think it is going to set a standard for hoe the No retret law Kentucky put in is going to be handled. The no retret laws mainly means that you can defend yourself if you feel you are in danger from a person who has a weapon. You no longer have to wait for that person to actually use that weapon on you. If she shot a man who had no weapon, then the concealed carry, and No Retreat Law should not be brought into this case and pounded with negetivity. This should go down as murder or assault. If the man did not have a weapon, and was only verbally assaulting her, then her only coarse of action should have been to drive away. Please correct me if I don't have all the facts. Have only been able to keep up with what I have been able to read in the paper.
