Day at Taylorsville
Went to taylorsville yesterday, 7 Aug, 2008. Fished from 2pm-6pm, Dam area
Largemouths were hitting worms in 5 ft of water in back of creeks. Caught 3 in the 2-3lb range pitching to lay down logs. Moved to the open flats past possum ridge throwing rattle traps and only caught small ones.
Water Temp was 89 deg.

Re: Day at Taylorsville
I stunk it up last Friday night. First time all year that I've been there and not catch atleast 3 keepers. Of course it was the first time I fished at night there too. The old man had 4, 1 small keeper and my nephew had 3 no keepers. I had 0, blank, none, nada, strike out, no peso, nothing! Missed a boatload but that means nothing.

Re: Day at Taylorsville
During the summer I sometimes go to Taylorsville just to play, I've never fished it but it certainly looks like a good lake to fish sometime Monday through Friday.
