Picture of Pre-Impoundment Walleye
Does anybody know where I can find a picture of people with their catches of the big Pre-Cumberland Impoundment Walleye?I remember there being such a picture around the time of the Rockcastle river strain was re-found by KDF&W,maybe in Ky Afield magazine,I have searched via internet and what Ky Afield archives I can find, but can't come up with anything.
Thanks Ahead of Time,

Maybe not cumberland river, but therer are some photos of real hawg walleye taken at center hill when it was first formed. We traveled from chicago in january to try to catch one of these monsters, there were no divided highways then, it was a 20 hour drive, 4 days of fishing and never a hit, but we discovered the secret, the bubba crowd was using large trrble hooks, and snagging them. Those fish were slaughtered, few of that strain are around now.We seen these pictures in an old copy of fishiong facts before it was a magazine, 18 to 20 lb walleye, there was no catch and release pressure those days even up north.

There are a couple MONSTER pictures on the wall on the antique/ice cream shop just off 127 near the dam. I've been there a couple times, and am AMAZED every time I take a look.
