Is prop repair cost effective?
Translate that to "worth a crap".
If you got a 13.25X 17 aluminum 3 blade prop that cost $114 new, and its dinged up and tweaked a little, and ya had it for 5 years, is it worth fixing or are just better off replacing it.
Whats a good prop job cost? Who does decent work. Last one I sent out came back like the guy "straightened it" with vice grips and painted it with a paint roller.

http://www.a1discountprop.com/michpromo.htm Try this Bob. I think you will be very surprised at their prices. I bought one earlier in the year and saved $40 compared to local prices. I think I found yours for $67.:)

Re: Is prop repair cost effective?
no alum props are not worth repairing if you can't do it yourself with a hammer and vice grips. Buy a SS prop and keep the alum as a spare.
