Caps on CEOs
No, A good one is worth the money.A good one negotiates his salary, and terms, its the guys who hire them that make most of the things that rankle me. If the CEO is incompetent, and even if he gets fired, and has astrnomical benefits afterwards, its not his fault, you asked him to work for you. Those golden parachutes were and are your resposibility, live with it, you brought it on yourself when you signed the contact. If you're dumb enoughto give away the store, you should not have even started the business.

Re: Caps on CEOs
That's all well and good for corporations that are in strictly private hands. But once the government "bails out" a company, by buying up all their bad debt, then our tax dollars dollars are funding those "golden parachutes." Yes, I'm a liberal, and I don't object to paying taxes, but I DO object to my tax dollars being spent like a drunken sailor in a brothel. I didn't hire the guy, and I'll be damned if I'm going to take out a second mortgage to buy him a yacht.

Looks like we don't get any say in what they do. I'm pretty fed up with this junk. I wonder how much this is actually going to cost us? I guess old Nancy P. and the gang has approved a draft so we will hear within the next few days how much it will cost.
These exec's were making jokes years ago about this collapse via emails. They should be brought up on charges some-how some-way.
