I will be going to Dale Hollow next week and I hear that i would need to use a jig as one of my baits. I have never tried a jig yet and am needing to know what size would be best to use , what color and trailer and best way to work it thx in advance for all info.

Contact Jeff at Legallimitlures.com, he makes, and can direct you to some of the best jigs you can use down there.
football jig -> 1/2 oz if not windy, 3/4 oz if wind is howling. pb and j or cumberland special both work well for me at dale. i prefer a baby paca craw (watermelon/red) as a trailer. good luck and let us know how your trip turned out.
