New Seats from Cabelas...snaps already rusting!
I installed some replacement seats in my boat recently.....some Cabelas close out deal. The snaps started rusting almost immediately. It's not a huge deal, but I don't want rust on my carpet and it looks bad. I assumed these snaps were aluminum.
Has anyone run into this and resolved it?
Thanks!
Mark
Re: New Seats from Cabelas...snaps already rusting!
A buddy of mine just put some new seats in his pontoon. He bought them from Basspro. I noticed he has the same problem with the snaps already showing rust. Plus the seats "wobble".
Did they save 2 cents a snap by not utilizing rust free components??

We have had problems with another item purchased from Cabela's and called their Customer Service Department. The items were replaced immediately and we received an apology from Cabela's. You might want to give it a try and it won't cost anything to call them and ask.
