Because of privacy regulations, I am not allowed to say much, and I will let the family inform everyone from this point, but Elwood came through his surgery with no major complications and the outcome was very positive and no surgery on Monday. I know he is very appreciative for all your prayers and support from all of you. Thanks.

Elwood is doing well, and resting right now. His surgeon was able to irrigate the infected area and discovered some free floating mesh once he got inside that had not shown up on the numerous ct scans they had done. He still has drainage tube and a nine inch cut to heal from but the day was a success overall. Thank you again for all your support and concern for him and for our family. It has been a great source of inspiration for us through these rough times. Have a safe weekend.

Thanks for the update and the family here is so glad to hear Elwood came thru the surgury in a positive manner and even more thankful he does not have to have the other proceedure on Monday.
