Loon Pit
So apparently Loon Pit in the Blue Grass FWA is a good crappie fishery? I had never fished it for crappie, but I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions about where to target them? I don't fish Loon very often at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Loon Pit
Hey ,
Loon Pit does have good numbers of crappie - like a lot of lakes a great many are small . On the eastern side about mid-lake there are some island and cuts and a beaver lodge which usally hold some crappie . I have had good luck fishing around some of the old wood near the deeper water on this side also . According to Moose Otter pit has some descent crappie as well . Has anyone heard from Moose lately ?
