O0ps trim tab anode bye-bye
Need some help, confused as all get out. Mt trim tab decided it didn't like me and left. Motor is a 1995 Merc, 75 Hp, ELPTO, SN 0G142482. Checking the internet has me confused.
a. I want a magnesium anode trim tab for the boat cause I do fresh, not salt water.
b. What part number do I need to get the tab, the nut and the bolt? A kit?
c. Anybody know where's a good place to order on line.
Did a lot of surfing and ended up with more questions than answers. Thanks in advance.

No prob, Bob !! I had a 70HP Yamahammer that liked to shed it's anode every few years or so .... so I know where ya comin from ... LOL!!
Just for good measure ... you might want to dab some lock-tite on the bolt threads. Or put some kinda insurance thingy on there, to keep it from coming off again. They may not be expensive, but losing them is an aggravation we don't need.

I second the Loctite"242". Problem solved. Good Luck. :)
