Home again, Thanks
Hello everyone, I know I have not been on the board much in the last couple of months, due to health problems, I recieved some great private messages and to all of those who wrote me thank you there was one member who gave me a great deal of hope and courage with her message, she was faced with many challenges and yet had time for me. I just got out of the medical center in Bowling Green after 20 days there and 7 at the hospital in glasgow.
While I still face some more challenges I survived another problem the sack around my heart filled up and nearly stopped my heart, they had to insert a needle and draw off the fluid, simple fix but my blood pressure was so low they could not sedate me they did numb the surface but when the needle puntured the chest cavity and the the sack I got to add a new 10! to my pain list the docs like to use. They drew off nearly 2 liters of fluid from the sack. The Doctors told my family if there are any family members want to see him they better make it quick because they gave me 48 hours to live and that was pushing it. well they did not count on prayers. I am honored by the care and prayers that you members of this board have shown me over the last few years. Though I may never meet you I know that there are angels listening to you because I am a lucky man. I will not keep you any more I just wanted to say thank you and if you need our prayers just ask and they will be there. Hey it is about crappie fishing time guess I better dust off the gear well folks thank you from Poppy and all of his girls we hope God blesses you every day of your life.

Re: Home again, Thanks
Good to hear Big Poppy...hope that you're catching crappies again soon...
I've spent more time than I care to remember at the Medical Center in Bowling Green and at TJ in Glasgow. My wife lived (literally) at the Medical Center for 42 days when her Mother was there on life support. I'll have to say that the staff there was really good to us.
