Sec of State
Rumors are surfacing that the President elect is considering Hillary Clinton for Secretary of State. Good move? Well, it gets her out of the way for the next presidential election. If he pulls the trigger on that one is it he acting more in the best interests of the country, or for political expediency.
He's already grabbed Rahm Emmanuel, now he's eyeballing Hillary. Doesn't sound much like centrist governance so far. His selection of take no prisoners Republican haters in key cabinet positions looks a lot like the basics for some wide left partisanship. Right now it looks like he's gonna need to be Plastic Man to reach across a very wide aisle of his own creation to practice the politics of change.

In an earlier post on this board someone said that Obama's wife doesn't like WHITE women. If Hillary is appointed Secretary of State, that could get to be very interesting, or she could get a very long overseas vacation.

Re: Sec of State
I don't think she'll take the position if offered....She would be under too much control of the main person she hates besides her husband.... She wants to be in control, not be controlled.....

Re: Sec of State
The best candidate for sec of state? Why its no problem at all Sarah! Why fly to russia when you can see them on a clear day, and she sure solved all that stuff about africa, just talk the president of that country. And knowing and talking to the president of france is already helpfull, If was OB, I'd send Bill clinton,he is already accepted by many foreign leaders,Why not just leave Rice in there? We have very little foreign[cant seem to spell that word} policy that worked for the past 8 years.Any turn can only come out better.WAIT Arnold, he's already a forienigner? thats half the job, worked with henry!
