Pretty much same old thing for me. Been in UK since Sunday night and doc tells me today that I will be here for 7 more days minimum. Trying to kill off another bout of infection to hope to avoid another knife job. If he can get the infection under control by Friday then there will not be a fillet job this week but if not you know the rest. As usual hope to see you on the water or anywhere other than here at the Hospital soon. Elnut

Here is hoping the Doc gets the infection under control. Sounds like the Doc wants you in there where he can keep an eye on your activities...he must be getting to know you.

He was getting concerned about me netting all those 0 pounders at Ky and Barkley and he was really afraid of me watching the water temps at Dale Drop like the stock market and any day now I have been known in the past to pull out every tube, flush every pill and hitch up "Old Big George" to the Explorer and dissappear to Celina TN for a few days to Float the Fly. Figured he had a fighting chance with me admitted but what he does not know is there are 2 other dedicated fisherman from fishin.com that work right here in the hospital. They have all the plans and old pipelines running under the building and have planned my escape beautifully and "Operation Smalljaw" will be in full swing when and if the time is ever needed.
Sounds like the Doc needs to beef up the security with this cold weather dropping the water temps like they have the past few days...LOL
Elnut I'm praying you will get healed I think that would be the answer to a lot of prayers and a great Christmas present for everyone. I am sending a letter to Santa telling him this is all I want for Christmas.

Elwood, I didn't know you were in here again until now. I will up to check on you later today. The vent pipe is greased and ready. Just have your boys pull up the Explorer and we will shoot you down the tube.
