11/21-23 C-land striper report
Finally made it down to the big C this past weekend. To my surprise we found almost all of our fish still out on the main lake. It was an afternoon bite for us. Talked to a couple boats who spent most of their time in the creeks with little success. If I were still there I'd just cruise the main lake until I see the birds diving and repeat as needed. We managed 17 fish in two days and all but one came after 1:30. Most of the fish were schoolies. Bucktails worked better than any other artificial on jumping fish. 30-40 feet on down rods beat our shallower boards/corks. Hopefully this helps.

We were fishing for smallies in one of the creeks and saw some bait and striper action. We threw out a shiner on a down line and caught one short striper. We've never actually caught a striper without a guide, so that was something for us.

We were fishing FnF. We only caught one SM. Pic is on the Photo Board.
Other than that and the striper, we caught a few small KYs and that was it. Not many bites, but maybe we weren't were the fish were.
