Williamstown Lake
Well, since stoner seems to be FUBAR for this weekend, do any of you guys know anything about Williamstown lake? I noticed it in one of the Ky lake books that I have and was curious about it. I have never been and don't know the first thing about it.
any input is appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Williamstown Lake
I've been on it a couple of times. Fished one of those during mid March few years ago. Water was cold and wind was howling. Didn't catch any but wasn't surprised, given conditions. It is LOADED with docks to fish around and brush around most of them. Have heard of good fish in this lake but just don't have much experience fishing it.

Re: Williamstown Lake
Thanks alot for the reply, I posted this thread and nearly forgot all about checking back on it lol, hence the delay in the thank you.
It sounds like it may be worth a trip down that way if I can find a decent day to go, hopefully soon, because I have heard that there is some difficulty fishing it with all of the pleasure boats and such out there all the time.
thanks again.

Re: Williamstown Lake
Good lake to fish if you like docks. Some good fish in the lake. I caught a 5 pounder this summer in a tournament there. Clear water. I'd try the deep points with docks. Small lake in case you didn't know. You can run a big motor though. In the cold I've had the most luck with jigs there.

Ill keep that in mind, thanks

Re: Williamstown Lake
It is a good crankbait lake too. Like the previous posts fish the docks. If you can find some sunken brushpiles I would hit those with a jig too. 300 acre lake, unlimited HP. 2 ramps. Best time to fish it is now and in the early spring before the skiiers get out.
