Coldest Fall
Boy's maybe it's just me and getting old and feeble. But this seems like the coldest fall we've had around here in a long time. Most Novembers and Decembers there are lots of days where you don't have to dress like an eskimo, and even a light jacket would be fine, not this year. I hope I'm wrong but I think we are in for a doosy this year. If and when winter actually gets here it's gonna get cooooooooooold, and I'm not a fan at all. Just venting and bored, lol.

Re: Coldest Fall
I agree one hundred percent. I like to fish in the morning but I won't put my boat on a ramp unless the air temperature is above freezing and/or not raining or snowing. Guess how many times I have used my boats since October 31st? Zero times!!! I know that a few of the warmer days I didn't go because it was TOO WINDY but it has still been the pits. According to John Belski on Wave 3, we have been running 10 to 15 degrees below normal since mid October. Mark, if you are right and we get a bad winter, I am afraid that IT IS GOING TO BE REALLY BAD!!

Mr. Weatherman, you are scaring the daylights out of me. Where I live, in 1993 we had 36" of snow in 5 days and that was on top of 3 inches of ice. Six weeks later we still had snow on the back yard. Being a girl from the far south, I thought everyone had a beach with plenty of, skidproof, white stuff to walk on. I had lived here for a few years and had seen an 8" snowfall but never up to my eyebrows. When we got the blizzard of '93 my butt smacked the snow so often I think I got frostbite. Please warm the snow before you deliver it this year. lol

What about that? Kinda makes you wonder if these guys ever tell the truth? Actually, they only tell the truth when it suits their agenda.:)

Re: Coldest Fall
Yes, this is the COLDEST FALL in a while.
I base this information on the NUMBER of times my furnace has kicked on versus my heat pump.
In the last 5 years, my emergency heat has only had to run maybe 10 times TOTAL..........
Well this year, I know for a FACT it has kicked on at least 10 times. Maybe as much as 20.............My emergency heat only kicks on when the outside temp is below 25 for more than 4 hours..............
Emergency HEAT is running NOW.
FUN.
Later,
Geo
