Well did you see where the rag heads slowed production of something like 2.3 million barrells of oil yesterday? Gee I wonder why they did that, surely it wouldn't be an attempt to drive oil prices back up, those honest individuals wouldn't do anything like that, lol.

I'm not happy about it but maybe we will not get lulled into this dependency of foreign oil any longer. These idiots would have been better served to let us fat, dumb and happy americans (sorry Pontooner didn't mean to call ya out! :p JK) get used to the low prices. Screw OPEC and their crooked ways!!! As I've been saying for a while, we need to develop our own alternative fuel source(s). Until we do, we can expect to put up with stuff like this. As far as paying for it, I say we take half of the $$ that we give to OPEC nations every year and put that towards developing those alternative fuels. If they complain, we take the other half and apply that to working out our fuel problems.

The last gas station I pass on the way home is owned by one of them turbin wearers.He jacks his gas up every day hoping to get the others to go up. Then when no-one eles does he comes back down.I've seen him change prices 3,4 times a day.He has wore his board out and the numbers won't say up.TOO BAD!
I say we just take our troops and take over the oil producing nations LOL! That was a joke btw.

On topic though, they have us by the $@#$% and they know it. Now we have to figure out how to do something about it and it has to start with the auto bailout. Make them build alternative fuel, hybrid............... vehicles and go from there.
I saw where the news of the cutting back on the oil production made gas rise around Jefferson County by $ .10 cents a gallon.....See this type of crap just dictates when it seems legal for the Gas Companies to raise their prices....Called just plain price gouging to me, what happened to the Price Gouging investigation the Mighty Democratic Governor was supposed to be doing? :rolleyes:

Ya know that's what I was thinking....I'm not a Gubment handout kind of guy BUT, if (when) they get money lets see some concrete plans of a change in the way they do business. Merry Christmas to ya Pontooner!:)
