Catching stripers on C-lake???

Hey guys, I need some help...
I have been reading these threads about all the topwater striper action lately at CL. My father-in-law is just recovering from his second heart attack, and I was wanting to take him out and try and catch some of these stripers(not sure how much longer he'll be around). He has always wanted to catch one, but never had the chance, nor have I. I've done some hybrid fishing with moderate success, but that's it. So...could somebody show some pitty on us and give us a few pointers. Not looking for your family secret striper lure or hole, just a point in a direction. The CL is so large, it's hard to know where to go. Anyways, any info would be appreciated. If anyone needs advice on the C-River, now that's up my alley! :D
