We got 7 today (all late after fishing most of the day). 3 Kys, 1 LM, 1 Smallmouth (4 lb 10 oz), and 2 stripers. Biggest striper was 7 lbs 6 oz.
All fish caught on FnF. That striper took awhile to bring to the boat.
I'll post pics in the photo forum.
sounds like yall had some fun too!!!

man i dont know what were doing wrong...we only managed 2 kys,one on fnf and one on jig and we put in at ramsey point...what kinds of banks and stuff are you guys fishing,i cant seem to put anything together
For us, the key was finding bait. That's probably why we caught the stripers, but the others were there too. We fished most of the day with very few bites and when we found baitfish, we got more bites.
My dad and I decided to do Cumberland yesterday ourselves. I haven't bass fished Cumberland in probably 15 years but we were itching to try FNF on a smallmouth fishery. We had a very slow day -- we only had two bites but we landed both and they were good fish. My dad caught a smallie that was about 3.5 lbs on the second point we fished in the morning. About noon or so I had the second bite and hauled in a 6.25 lb smallie which is the second biggest smallie I have ever caught. Beautiful fish and man what a fight on a 10' noodle rod! We fished various jigs throughout the day too but didn't do any good except for FNF. Bottom line is we stuck with main lake points and I don't think the areas we covered had a lot of fish relating to them. Fishing the big lakes out west is so different -- you see fish and shad on the graph all of the time on the big lakes where on Cumberland sometimes it can be a challenge to even graph them. Great day to be out and I look forward to trying FNF again soon.
